Guages acting werid

My temp gauge has been reading on the cooler side all winter now and not that it is getting hotter it is flucating more. Also my oil pressure guage is a lot higher now. When I had changed my oil for the first time in the car it got higher. My dad said everything was alright but it has now gotten higher. I don't know what it could possibly be other than maybe dirt in the regualter. Any have any ideas?

yours a 94-95 car? I think those gauges worked better than the new ones~

The oil pressure may also work, I think in 96 the oil pressure went to a dummy switch aka 100% useless.

You can test temp with a secondary gauge to double check the temp, same for oil pressure.

Re: Guages acting werid

The wire to the temp sensor is loose and is what is making it flucate but for the oil pressure I don't really know. I think I am going to put a a pillar pod in and put mechanical gauges in for a more accurate reading.
