Eliminator chip

Can anyone tell me what kind of horsepower increase would get me from 0-60 @11.2 sec., to 9.4? I just installed a cai, true duels, and Eliminator chip on my '96 V6 stang.

Re: Eliminator chip

Those mods with a chip probably won't net you 20+ hp. The older 3.8's really don't respond to bolt ons that well. The 99-04 3.8/3.9's aren't much better.

I would suggest looking into a split port swap. Your current 3.8 has the single port intake...swapping to a split port intake from the 99-04 3.8's will bring you up to those hp specs...~190-193hp and 220-225tq.

That will improve your 0-60 most noticeably other than FI.

Re: Eliminator chip

Sorry, It ran a 11.2, 0-60 box stock. After cai, true duels, and Eliminator chip, it did 9.4 0-60. Shift point before was @ 3200 rpm, after was 45-4700 rpm. Automatic tranny. I was really impressed, just wandered what the hp gain might have been, thanx!
