Re: The next upgrade...

i would get tires and the springs at once...so that way you can get everythind done at the same time plus a alignment...don't want to ruin the new tires.

If you get those spring you will need c&c plates and maybe some new shocks

The Super Sports...same color blue as the tokico HP's, more of a bright atlantic blue.

Yah definitely buy the tires and springs near the same time so you can get an alignment and not wear those nice new tires unevenly.

+1 on the CC plates, the Super Sports are going to give you a +1.6" drop in the front (more if you leave out isos) and the CC plates will make compensating and aligning much easier. Plus if you decide you want to hit the track course and want to adjust some parameters, you can.

Re: The next upgrade...

Just a suggestion because I have been researching it like crazy and asking people like sonicpony and those over at project47.com- The caster camber plates will be needed but the Steeda X2 Ball Joints really come in handy dropping the extra 1/2" up front to give the proper rake or stance. If the springs are not specifically rated for the V6 (which is 100lbs lighter than V8) you don't get as much of a drop in the front.

I made the mod on my 99 gt and it made a huge difference on the handling. The only thing lacking are the ball joints and bump steers. But the super sport springs and cc plates are a huge improvement over stock.

Yes very true..I noticed that too when I installed the X2's. If you go with a spring that isn't specifically rated for the v6 like the H&R's and Eibachs the X2's and removing isos will lower it noticeably more.

Keep in mind both of these methods are optional (though new ball joints never hurt, especially if your car has higher miles).

the reason 4.10 for auto is the auto is geared worse, so you are at lower rpms due to the transmission gears, the extra gearing 4.10 vs 3.73 give you help to even out the worse gearing the auto has vs the manual~ but the final drive gears isnt that much different so you may end up with a final drive higher rpms with 4.10s~
