what should be my next mod?

I have a 2001 mustang v6 auto. Right now American muscle is having spend 100 get 15 off. I wanna get something to use the money off. Should I get a tlock but if I do I won't install till end of month. Some subframe connector won't install till later or some new front shocks cause I want to lower later.

Well if you get a tlok you might as well get gears (200)..plus the install is 300-500+ depending on the shop. These 2 drivetrain components are probably the most bang for the buck mod you can do other than FI. You will need a tune afterwards to adjust for the gear change.

The subframe connectors are a good mod, they will stiffen the car up significantly and greatly reduce body roll in the corners.

Shocks and struts are a good thing to upgrade if you lower the car.

I say get the subframe connectors...those you can actually install right away and aren't overly expensive to have installed. (If you don't have access to a welder).

Re: what should be my next mod?

Pick out your gears but I recommend getting a set of Ford gears rather than Motive or Strange. They're all good and work just fine but I believe there is less chance of gear whine when installing Ford's set of gears.
American Muscle provides you what is needed when lowering your car. Springs, struts/shocks, caster camber plates, ball joints.
Take a look at short throw shifters and consider that some day after the differential work is done. It's one mod that is used the entire time you get to experience driving the car.
Have fun with it all!

Just curious, how did you get that coupon for American muscle? I'm about to buy a tuner and some free money would be nice

Re: what should be my next mod?

springs are a great investment, but you will need CC plates to get the alignment right, you can do shocks/struts later
