Re: Air bag light

It shouldn't be on all the time baybe a loose connection under your seat so the system doesn't know there is anybody in the seat witch could cause your air bag to not work in an accident betyter get it checked for safety reasons.

I looked at a stang a long time ago that had the light on. It was at a shady dealer...didn't know that at the time...took it to the shop to get it looked while test driving it and they said pretty much the same thing except the suspected it had been in an accident and the censor was not replaced when the air bags deployed. Which means the air bags will not deploy until they replaced the censor. Needless to say the dealer wouldn't replace it prior to me buying it so I walked. The shop told me its illegal for them to let u drive it off the lot without that safety feature.
