Shifter for a 2002

I'm looking to upgrade the shifter in my '02. I was looking at the steeda tri ax, but is there another on that I should consider too? Thanks.

A lot of people like the tri-ax. I don't but mine is also a six speed. I've heard nothing negative about MGW which will be my next purchase. And the pro 5.0 has been proven through the years but a little loud if it really matters to you. All 3 are great choices over stock.

I like my MGW. Nice short travel. The centering spring seriously means business. If you have a pulled muscle in your chest (like I did shortly after putting it in), it's gonna hurt!

I got the hurst and love it but would recommend the mgw it's smoother which people like. I like a harder shift and love hurst so that's what I got.

FYI: Sometimes you get put in a position because of a price you can't pass up and get a short throwshifter other than the MGW. They sell an adjustable handle that fits on most other shifters. It positions the handle where others can't and it eliminates any vibration. I love mine.

MGW has the best built shifter on the market, its not as stiff a the Steeda but for a daily driver its the best reach and best setup with least road noise/vibration. I would HIGHLY consider it over the steeda. The reach alone is worth it (handle 360 degree adjustable)
