New Battery Cable(s)

So I've beat up my battery cables over the years due to multiple stereos & subs and finally the negative cable terminal gave out last week. I went up to Discount auto and bought a universal one, however occasionally I"m having some poor starts or no start at all until I wiggle the terminal back on. Because the V6 and possible GT have three black negative cables going to the terminal (One 0 gauge and two 10 gauge wires) it is difficult to crimp them to the terminal, thus I've considered getting a new harness from ford. I'm told the new harness includes both the negative and positive cables and terminals with everything pre-crimped. Part number is WR3Z14300EA and it does not come up on google as it is a dealer part only. No one carries it except the dealers and it retails for $208.26. So I'm stuck with either working with what I have or getting the new one. Thoughts? Sarcastic Remarks?

Re: New Battery Cable(s)

wow you wern't lying Spec. Their price is only $114. And the part number is YR3Z14300EA not WR. Anyway I figued this might be a good thing to knock out one weekend and maybe do a small write up on. I didn't think it was going to be that intensive until I looked at where the ground wire ran....all the way to the starter area (as well as the positive cable), a white cable, a few other small 10ga black wires too. Pretty nutz for a battery i thought, but then again I've never done this.
