I want to get a dyno tune on my car - just wondering what I should look for when I go and whether or not it's worth it... have any of you done it? :headbang:
If you have an automatic, it is worth it just to improve the shift points. On a stockish or basic bolt on V6, you're not going to gain a whole ton of power, but it will feel much peppier from adjusting the shift points alone.
A dyno for any tune that modifies the fuel tables is worth a lot to make sure your car is running within it's safe range. Each car reacts differently to changes in a tune and any tune changes should be verified on a dyno or in a datalog on the street if you have a wideband A/F guage.
Yeah but with the stuff he has paying 100 to 200 is a lot for the same thing a tuner can do
