That's the first step. (it's a vacuum leak). Te next one is to check the canister vent valve. Get back to ms if you find one

As in evap canister? It's not hooked up

Ok. I replaced al intake manifold gaskets. Injector o rings. Throttle body gasket. New maf. New iac. All new vacuum lines. No change in idle

Does the evaporative canister purge valve hold 16"Hg vacuum for 20 seconds?

Bring engine to operation temp. Unplug the IAC. Does the car stall?

Now if I take the iac hose off and plug it it dies. The iac won't close

That's cool I'm in no hurry. Since mine is a standard and it won't jerk into gear like a auto will at high idle.
