O2 sensors on my 3.8 - Mustang Evolution

O2 sensors on my 3.8

Do I need a special tool to remove them? I'm just taking them off,cleaning them real good and putting them back on I'm gett somewhat bad mpgs and it's running lean

They should bolt right up like my 3.0 ranger. Mine was on the front of the block towards the top if I remember correctly. You can clean or replace your CP2 but if you choose to replace it, use ONLY Ford parts. It's more expensive but last 1 h3ll of a lot longer!!!!

only issue is if you live somewhere that rust is bad (road salt etc) then they can be a pain else they should unscrew. I would recommend replacing them if cleaning them doesnt help.
