Ordering new carpet for the mustang

I need to, the little plastic piece that holds my mat in place is gone. It drives me nuts having to keep pulling my mat back.

On mine th little plastic thing has tore a hile in my carpet so I unhookedit and just put the matt on top of it because I can't buy carpet right now.

we have that piece in our car too and it still slid forward so we took the mat out because it stuck under the pedal once...not a cool thing.

I have the same problem, except when I bought mine the dealer agreed to fix it and they did. It now looks worse than before and a huge hole has developed. It really annoys me, I've never seen carpet wear like this. I've thought about writing Ford.

yeah its connected to the carpet to stop the floor mats from sliding and it just comes unhooked every other day

I think velcro would be a better idea instead of that little plastic clip it would save the carpet from ripping and would probably hold better.

It's just a little c shaped clip on the carpet in front of the seat to hold the matt in place.

I may try it. I'm about to replace my carpet so I may try it with my old carpet first and see how that goes in case it sucks.
