Longtube header question

I found these longtube ceramic headers for my 00 new edge v6. I was wondering how do I connect this to my existing stainless steal exhaust???

Re: Longtube header question

yup, the stock Y pipe has to fully come off and you need a long tube header mid pipe (new H pipe) that will allow it all to bolt up.

You can probably but i wouldnt do it but take it to an exhaust shop and have them custom fit ur midpipe. It will be cheaper than buying a new midpipe.

Re: Longtube header question

Shorties = Use your existing stuff
Longs = Either buy a new mid pipe made for long tubes or have a shop cut your existing and make it fit the long tubes.

Those are really your only choices.

I definately wouldn't do shorties. They don't do anything for our cars. The long tubes add a decent bit of power and sound.

Well I know when i was looking for mine, the pacesetters had a lot of complaints. I got a deal on mine and got both the headrs and h pipe for 300. Both will sound good though so i wouldnt worry there
