well good luck. i was thinking it was a newer relationship... i can more understand a situation like that. but even still, don't make a crazy decision and regret it later.

Re: A single turbo

getting a GT is a great idea, i'm not knocking that. just saying make sure you know what you're getting into. you know you have a pretty solid car right now being the owner of it for most of its life, don't get rid of the 6 and get a GT that will only bring you problems. slow down all the decision running thru your head and make the right one. like mentioned, you've gone through so many ideas in the past week i'm not sure you even know what you really want to do.

Like she said hold out on the ideas. Play the market for a few months like I did and wait till something good comes up. No need to rush.

Personally I think I'd be happier with a girl who loved sports cars. Who at least would know how to put together a cai, know what I know about cars, and I would like a girl who'd love being there at my side while I work on my car

Re: A single turbo

So, she compares your $3k car to a $84k car? Tell her for that money you could build a Mustang that would eat the GTR for an appetizer.

Yeah yeah, I know... got to keep the lady happy. Facts are great argument enders though. You've put a lot of time and heart into your car so don't give her up that easily. Honestly, $$$ and HP are alike... no matter how much you have, you will always want more, and there will always be someone with more.

You never take me out to eat, to the movies, you never do anything nice for me like that, I'm always taking us out and paying for everything. I do alot of things nice for us, you never save money to take me out anywhere, I doubt you even think about it, you always do stuff for just you. You said you were going to take me to the movies for my bday, it meant alot to me, but you never did. You said you were saving some money to do that. It really upset me.

Re: A single turbo

you seem to do a ton of flip flopping and changing your mind, until you decide once and for all what you want and the risks/gains of doing that dont spend any more on your car.

Re: A single turbo

and there ARE females who like american muscle. i promise you i'm not scared of getting my hands dirty or being under a car. true, they are a bit harder to find than the typical girly-girl type, but they do exist. same thing as buying a car, you gotta be picky...
