It depends on the sizing and amount of boost. 300rwhp is fairly easy to achieve though. I wouldn't go over 350 rwhp on the stock internals though.

Re: A single turbo

A single turbo can make anywhere from 100 HP to 2000 HP lol.

You could put one on an otherwise stock car, yes. It all depends on how large the turbo is and how much boost you push.

Yea as long as you dont push it too much. Supporting fuel mods and a tune are very important. Tma sells kits for around 4-5k. Id think about it some more though. Werent you just talking about long tubes, h/c/i, and then selling your car... sounds like a lot of ideas going on in one week

Sure was. It's the gf she doesn't like American sports cars. So I told her to leave me alone about the car. She said a truck would be better. And I told her a girl that likes American muscle cars would be better too. But now that I'm keeping my car I wanna put a turbo on it. Like I wanted to before

Re: A single turbo

on a v6 expect 8-10 psi to be the limit and that will be about 300rwhp~

Re: A single turbo

many factors but the end result will cost you a good bit and get you 260-320rwhp/tq~ and you wont have as good of a powerband as a GT but you will be a bit faster for sure.

Id get them for sure. You can get a 3 gauge setup fairly cheap. Youre already spending 5k. Might as well. Why not get a gt though. You can sell your car and with 5k buy a nice gt

Maybe she would respect you more for wise spending of money. Sell your car, buy a gt or whatever and have some money left to take her somewhere on vacation or something.

Let me tell you what my life is like... I work for the parish I hate my job. Everything about it is bs but that's all what's available. My gf and her family have their own family buisness, she has everything she'll ever want. Her hobby is her cat, I hate it I go work on my car. When I work on my car she gets aggrivating. She says u like that car more than u like me. Pisses me off.
I told her already " look your life is taken care of you have ur own buisness and ur cat everything is yours, the car is all I got you have your hobby I got mine" she likes imports she forever saying my cars a piece of crap - she says a nissan gtr I a 3.8 and produces 550 hp and she said compare that to your crapy American car so that's why I wanna make this v6 powerful... Not only that I know all about this car it was basically mine. The previous owner she got it for a graduation and she is a lawyer so the month after graduation she went to a lexus.

It's a 2000 mustang gt 139k miles for $7900
Mines a 2000 v6 with 120k miles on it
Prolly worth 3000$

If the gt is in good condition and runs right should I get it or not ?

Re: A single turbo

the wheels are disgusting for one. and i wouldn't like to jump into a GT with that kind of mileage, especially not knowing info on the previous owner, but thats just me. Personally i think you are jumping through way to many hoops for this girl. how long have you been with her? and if her and her mom are that hard on you about your car, you will never be 'good enough'. they should choose to respect you or not based on who you are, not what you drive.

up to you, but i would hate to see you make a hasty decision that you will regret later.
