Aft cat deletion question

Quick question, my aft cats are.clogged and I cant afford new ones so heres my plan. Autozone sells an exhaust flex pipe that fits my car. Can I remove my aft cats and install that flex pipe in its place as a temp fix? I know I will get a cel light unless I get the deleters. Not worried about that atm, just looking for a quick fix till I get the money for a new exhaust.

Yes you can do that make sure you tighten the clamps though.

True true. I was a little worried that flex pipe would get to hot. Then I would really be screwed.

Catless 3" Offroad X-Pipe = AWESOME! That will just be plain filthy with nipple hardening deafness for sound.

Re: Aft cat deletion question

I would leave them all alone, removing them just makes the car louder, and louder is not equal to good always. It wont help power, its not legal, and you just end up with more issues/hassles than its worth cutting them off with the CEL and such you will get.

Right, but, blowing them out or.removing them completely will solve the issue at hand. Legal or not, loud or not, my car will run a little better for the time being. Not looking for power gains, a cool sound, or anything like that. Just fixing a problem.
