Maryland legal limit is 35%, I would recommend that if you ever use the quarter windows to look through not to get 5% its really dark. 20% should be fine, and if you have a dark interior the 35% will be just fine.

Here is mine with 35% all around.

I would do 20%, I have 35% on the side front windows, and 20 on all the back and 1/4. It's perfect and I can see great at night. Although I wish I could've gotten 20% up front too though.

Honestly, I think that would look really weird as a contrast, and a bi*ch to back up at night...

Re: tint question

I did 35/25/15 on the side/rear quarter/back with a 5% strip on the front. I think it looks good and it doesn't draw attention. I'm able to back up fine at night.

Re: tint question

Of course it'll look best with 5%...but 20% is still dark but doesn't look completely blacked out. 35% is alright...I'd personally would take my chances with the 20%, you'll be happy you did.

Re: tint question

I have been toying with the idea of tinting my car too, but I have no desire to see the tint slashed so... GA legal limit is 32%, but you guys are saying that even in your states with similar limits 20% doesn't draw unwanted attention?

Nope, I believe 30% is the law and I have 20% on the back and the 1/4 windows, but 35% on the sides

Thanks. I just didn't want something that looked weird OR illegal.

Pull a trailer for awhile and backing up with a dark window wont make a difference anymore cause you get used to not looking through your rearview

I see people with way darker tint than 32% here. It just depends on where you are at here. Cobb County is really strict and will pull you over. I really don't think its too much of an issue. As long as you don't drive stupid you're fine.
