First car need help

My parents bought me a 2004 v6 mustang and the person before put a new CAI and new throttle body on as well but what are some mods to do next. Thanks

gears = 400 bucks in parts and 200-500 install

tune 380 for tuner, tune depends (bama chips not sure its a package)

my goal is to just get my v6 not like all of the other v6's in my town and to get some more horsepower and to have more fun but i know it will never be like a gt

It wont sound like a gt. But with enough cash you can make that v6 faster then a gt.

yeah the original owner also put on dual exaust and the gt style body on it as well with flowmasters

Yah sounds like you have a good start...exhaust, CAI, and a t/b are some of the basic bolt ons...the throttle body probably won't do much on a near stock car but who cares since you didn't pay for it, lol.

Gears, a tlok, an underdrive pulley, and a good tune will wake up your v6. If you have an auto than the tune will really help out as the stock auto's shift points are not performance oriented. If you have a manual get a short throw shifter...it'll make driving the car more fun and shifting a breeze.

Keep in mind a quick car isn't only made by improving engine performance. Suspension and chassis stiffening will help get the power to the ground and keep the car planted.

If you want to take performance to the next level you can build the v6, or go forced induction or both.

It all depends on what you want. A lot of people end up upgrading to a v8 before dumping a ton of money into the v6's.

yeah mine is a manual and my dad and i are going to get a fox body mustang in a year or so to work on so that will be my GT. Thanks for the advice.
