Tmaturbo makes the only ones for our car. A stall and gears will make up for that Turbo lag. You will have to tune down to about 500 rwhp for the street anyway. This is not a cheap project. It will cost about 20k for the whole setup. And supersixmotorsports, tom Moran a, and delk are the only ones wo self h/c/I packages. And to the above dyno claims on a v6: I put down about 190 with full bolt ons
Ok..what are your bolt ons?

Right. So that would put it at 393hp. And on a good weather day 400 Is easy

Hey, we got way off topic here. A post here and there is getting me the answers i need once I get past all the di** measuring posts. Sorry, but its getting a little frustrating. What hp other people are putting down, dyno proven or not, doesnt help point me in the right direction.

8% is an incorrect number you through out there. It's not 18 %. On your car it might be. But your number don't apply to this car. The way your talking a 1000hp car would lose 80hp in it's drivetrain.

Just txt me with your questions. I've built several motors. If I don't know the answer to your question I'll be honest and tell you i don't.

And yes you can make 400hp easy. I would talk to tiger in pms
He seams very knowledgeable with the v6 nodding and he will give you real answers

I'm arguing with this guy to show that his answers are not true answers
Sorry to get your thread off topic

I am talking about rwhp. No one gives a **** about bhp except the manufacturers and insurance co. You will not get anywhere near 300rwhp on a n/a 4.2 split port. Mods are in sig.

Sorry bud..the best answer I can give you is do the research on your own. But first decide what it is you want your car to do. Like I said earlier, you can get some nice gains using either Super Six Motorsports or Tom Morana's goodies for the engine. But only you can decide how fast you want to go and ultimately how much you want to spend.

I have to ask Texas...why do you hang out in a v6 forum when you own a v8? Just to give v6 owners a hard time? Cause that's how it seems...you do realize that ford on average sells more v6 cars than GT's right? Not everyone at the time of purchase can afford the added cost of owning a v8. But that does not mean that we don't like to make our cars go faster. To me it seems you just can't wrap your head around the fact that the 3.8/3.9 are actually an engine that takes to modding very well. In fact Tom Morana was one of the first guts to get a v6 powered Mustang under 9 seconds in a quarter...read his website if you decide you actually want to learn just how easy it is to get some decent numbers out of the 3.8.

As do I doom...it just seems some decide that the answer to increasing hp in a v6 car is a v8 swap...and that just isn't the case. I always encourage new v6 owners who want more out of their car to research Super Six and Tom Morana as they are the top two v6 engine builders...Steeda has some bits for v6 engines...but not a lot...VAP Auto has a great, easy to install kit for the Windstar upper intake and Stepheis a class act when it comes to customer support....I prefer Tom as he is Canadian and I like to support Canadian business...his quality is just as good as Super Six and I don't have to pay duty on it to get it across the border...

I'm in here to help him. Not fill his head with bs like you seam to want too

And just because I own a v8 doesn't mean I don't understand the v6 also. I work at a ford dealer and see plenty of both engines.

And you can make a v6 faster. I didnt disagree with that. I disagree with your numbers that you gave. Stating that a few mods would give you.

And I've read about morana. But you don't understand the amount of money in that guys cars

Dude lay off texas he has experience on cars which is a lot more then people can say. Yes the v6 motor can be built to be fast but any car can be built. It's more of the process and money that is the question. Stock v6 motor is junk okay these engine are not ment for power that is a true fact. Think about it a mini van has more power with the same engine. They never added the upper intake because they didn't care blame Ford

Yup..that's right...I know jack about the car I built over the last 3 years and researched the **** out of before I bought any parts. Oh and I guess the dyno lied too...

My offer stands...infact come on up to Winnipeg and we'll drive out to Dufresne and I'll have Brian put it back on the dyno just for you....but be prepared to eat a little crow...

Dude. With head swap and other mods you listed 255 rwhp is nothing to brag about...

Honestly to me you sound like a Honda civic driver stuck in a mustang...
