stuck in park?

i just got my 03 v6 mustang auto about 3 months ago and 1 month ago I brought it to a ford dealership to be fixed cuz it wouldn't come out of park. they did, but now it's having the same problem an when I managed to get it into drive it won't go into reverse so I have it in neutral with ebrake up does anyone know what it could be?

Very possible that the switch could be broke, also could be somone had a different shifter in there before. Could be it needs a fluid change out. I'd take it to a trusty mechanic. Not AAMCO: All Automatics Must Come Out.

Okay this happened to my friend 3 times. There is a wire that connects the shifter to gears and that might be loose, frayed, or snapped. So that could be it. Also try pushing down on the shifter cus I might not be connecting because it's pulled out

Re: stuck in park?

seems obvious, but what about taking it back to the dealer that supposedly fixed it and let them know its still messed up?
