Tune first?

I`m wanting to do something to my car before the car show in 2 weeks, I have a fairly good amount done in visuals, but as far as performance i only have a cai, exhaust, and short throw shifter, eventually i wanted longtube headers, performance cats, and maybe a small shot of nitrous like a 75 shot. Its just a fun car. My main question should i wait on the tuner til after the other mods? Or get the tuner anyway first since i can always have it retuned? Thanks alot guys in advance, you`ve always managed to help me out.

Re: Tune first?

Tuner = awesomeness if you appreciate more feeling when mashing the accelerator to the floor. So far the only engine mod I've made is the tuner & the power of putting my foot down felt sooooo much better than before. Best investment I've made to date.

My SCT tuner did great with a custom tune. I'd do as much as you can before you get it custom tuned. If not you're just paying to get it tuned again lol

To be honest I have no clue what a windstar intake is. I glanced online and i never really seen a full kit or see what it fully was besides a pretty intake lol. Could you explain a little?

Go to VAP Auto on line they sell a kit for about $400. I'd get that first and then do a tune.

Why would you need an aluminum lower intake with a composite upper?

Re: Tune first?

as you continue to mod the tune needs to be modified to get the most out of it, so if you can update the tunes free (bama chips) then it might be worth it.
