1995 3.8 l v6 mustang wont start. Help Please

I just bought a 95 3.8 l mustang and it had been sitting for awhile so it need to be jumped to start it. Now when i turn the key nothing happens no lights, radio or anything just a clicking noise from the trunk. I just replaced the battery and still nothing. It wont jump start or even try to turn over. Battery cables seem fine. Terminals aren't corroded or anything. Any ideas?

Have you checked fuses, starter, relays, wiring harness....if its clicking the sounds like the starter or the solenoid. If its not doing anything at all then its electrical...somewhere from the battery to the ecu and the starting/charging system.

But im not a certified mechanic.....that's just things I've always been told

Yeah ive checked all the fuses there all fine. The clicking isnt coming from the starter or anything and it continues to click for awhile even after you remove the key. How can i check the electrical stuff?

Fallow the batter wires make sure there either grounded well or attached very well there can't be any wiggle room

If you have a multimeter it would help.....but it sounds like an ignition problem maybe....like maybe something shorting and creating a circuit and letting it continue to run......so in my opinion I think its a wiring issue

I found it thank you everyone. There was a broken ground wire going to the starter and i cleaned all the electrical connections, put it all back together and it started right up.
