Dual exhaust bumper cutouts

Ok so! the 99-04 v6 mustangs have a single exhaust on the left side.... we all know that. I want to make mine a dual exhaust and have the little slots in my bumper so the tips fit nice and pretty up in the bumper. has anyone ever done this? the simple thought of cutting my bumper makes me cringe! any tips tricks or even pictures of the process would be much apreciated!

Re: Dual exhaust bumper cutouts

Most people run the duals under the bumper and just angle the tips up, doesn't look horrible, but definitely not as tailored as the GT bumper.

There have been several people that notch their bumpers but I've never seen one turn out looking right...easiest way would be to use a 4 or 5" hole saw to ensure the hole is perfectly round.

Yeah that's what I'm afraid of... I'm thinking maybe just buying a GT bumper is going to be the best route or just going under the bumper like everything else...

I see GT bumpers for sale cheap on Craigslist pretty often. That might be worth checking out. Or a boneyard maybe?
