1999 v6

Have just recently bought my first car and it's a mustang yay... However it doesnt start. I tried the battery, and it's fully charged. I know it might be the starter or the solenoid. But I don't know where those are to get them tested. Please help

I am not sure exactly how mustangs are in this aspect as I have only owned one for about a week now but in past experiences with these new cars the starter solenoid is actually built into the starter it's self unlike the old school ones that mount on the fender well. You say your first car so I'm assuming you're 16 and have limited funds and mechanical experience. So let us know what you're working with budget and experience wise so we can help. Also have a friend turn the key and get under the car and listen for where that click is coming from. It should be from the starter if the solenoid is built in... Let us know!
