V6? Not worth it at all... Spend the money on a tuner and get real gains and throttle response.

Re: Throttle body-hp gain??

The 56mm TB is necessary when you have the upper intake ported out to match 56mm opening, followed by porting out the lower intake manifold.
Now, I got one and put it on with no ill effect at all. Seemed to grab at the accelerator cable quicker, better acceleration. Might be placebo effect. I also got the car dyno tuned with it on. I got one used for $25.00 & couldn't pass it up.

Re: Throttle body-hp gain??

I have a (new) BBK 65mm throttle body sitting on the shelf in the garage. I had it on the car for less than 500 miles. I bought it and installed it before I got my Windstar upper. Steven at VAP said he doesn't modify BBK throttle bodies, so I ended up buying his 65mm body that came off of a GT.

I don't know how much of a "real" difference it made because the SCT tuner, 65mm and CAI were all done at the same time.
