Clutch Issues

How can you tell when your clutch is about to go out???

When I'm driving sometimes it hard to put the clutch into gear while other times it easy, normally I have the trouble in 1st and 2nd, the car acts as if it doesn't want to go into gear, and I kind of feel like i have to force it...

can someone give me some input on this please.

Re: Clutch Issues

The correct, clean, automatic trans fluid is needed. The original shifter can show wear n tear.
Could be the throw out bearing but both bearings usually get noisy as they are about to fail. I have always used Mobil1 automatic trans fluid, it's approved by Tremec. When I had a hard time shifting into first gear some time ago, a short throw shifter fixed the issue. MGW, Pro 5.0, Steeda, Hurst, B&M, ect... All good shifters.

Re: Clutch Issues

yeah my stock shifter felt terrible. I've got the MGW on there now and its a lot smoother compared to stock.
