Tma turbo but first you must build up other parts of the car

Re: looking for turbo for 2001 v6 mustang automatic

when you say overhaul, does that include new cam, forged internals, new valves and all that? cause putting a turbo in any non built engine has a serious risk of damaging the engine beyond repair.

Honestly if you don't want to add so much stuff to make it a little faster you should supercharge it instead of turbo go to YouTube and type this FORCED INDUCTION- SUPERCHARGER VS TURBO CHARGER in youtube it's kinda long but it will tell you the pros cons and difference ima get mine supercharged instead if putting a turbo

Well I understand that. But I'm not looking for that much gain this is just a street car, I have a finished rally car stricly for racin. I'm just looking for that cheap boost I'm looking for. What's why I'm curious if anyone know of site or anything about it, who know mabey supercharged would be worth it but anyone know sites where I can find it?

Turbo is way better. A supercharger is easier to maintain and they sell full kits. Turbo has a lot of custom work but I ment look into Windstar intake and also a 8.8 rear end

You can run low boost ~4 psi on the stock comp, fuel and air system and be fine. If you want more you'll need to upgrade those and get a 8.8 rearend. I hear 8-10 psi is fine for a dd on stock internals, with a good tune of course. I actually have a turbokit sitting in my garage. Trying to install it sometime this winter or sell it who knows.

Actually just got a turbo for my v6.. I got my intercooler system off eBay and turbo off Craigslist .. as long as you don't push more than 6 pounds of boost yours will be good.. custom exhaust is always a good idea
