Techometer

I wanted to know if any of you guy new why my rpm meter does not work at all should i replay it or what can i do to fix it oh an its a 98 v6 3.8l mustang

Happened on my friends truck, they tore out the electronics only to find they messed up a wire when they installed a new radio. try and check as many wires as u can before u do anything drastic.
