Tuner question

On the 99-04 v6 mustang how do you adjust the timing what do you adjust it to to make it quicker anyone did this

Should be able to advance the spark through a handheld.... Not real familiar with the v6's though.

From what I know, there's a high chance of causing mechanical failure if not adjusted by a dyno tech with talent. The garage who dyno tuned it could tell you more as to why, or what else needs to change same time & keep proper air/fuel mixture.
