Auto to manual

I have a 2000 ford mustang v6 and was wondering how much it would cost to switch from auto to manual. A lot of people say trade for a manual but I am keeping mine. I love my car and just want it to be manual and my transmission is acting up anyway so I figured I might as well switch

I would need a mechanic to do it all but I want it done.

I have done it myself in a 1996 mustang only because I has a wrecked 94 with all the parts I needed so other than that I would honestly recommend to just get a 5spd car would be much cheaper in the long run cause a mechanic will probably charge alot in labor costs. But the choice is totally up to u if you want to just keep ur same car

It would be nice to have a donor car but it will take a while to find one and my car needs fixed so I can drive it. It's been sitting for over a month and I miss it lol
