| Vs. CRX
1991 Stock (As far as I know) Honda CRX..
Just from toying with eachother on roads I feel I can beat him, but if I do it may not be in a 1/4.. maybe from a highway pull.. which is most likely being that his top end is probably ****ty.. but what do you guys think the damage would be in a 1/4mile?

i would think it would be the opposite. you with the advantage from a dig and him with the advantage on the freeway.

Run 'em. Then let us know.
I don't have nearly the knowledge of CRXes or V6 Stangs to make anywhere near an accurate prediction. I do agree with Thomas, though, I would have imagined that you would have the advantage from a dig, being RWD and all.

What kind of Mustang do you have? If you are both stock then I think you should beat him either way. If he's working with a few mods or worse yet for you a DOHC VTEC motor then you'll probably get F'ed in the A. CRX's are really easy to make fast.
EDIT: I see this is posted in the 3.8L V-6 section so that must be what you have. Again I think you will beat him stock.

If the thing is a beater like most CRX's you will take him to 60. After 60 it will be close to like 90 or so. But your extra 2 cylinders should get you to 115 before him. Hmm he is real light though. I dunno it is a tough call.

Well, this toying around was on backroads he blew past me in a double yellow, so I just floored it and kept up with him.. idk if it's because of his shifting or what.. but I figured since my car is a V6 Automatic, and from just driving my car.. it's kinda slow on acceleration.. and it's heavy as ****.
Yeah, I think he is a stock CRX motor, and is at a 2 cylinder disadvantage, but he is a lot lighter then me. So it may be close.. I found out its a kid I know after the backroad horse play and he talks a lotta ****, saying he's fast.. but when I asked him to run me up at the track he said no.. he'll race me on backroads.. not straight ones, ones with a lot of curves.. I told him I already hit a tree and don't want to do it again, sum it all up, the kids a ***** and runs his mouth..
We were going up hill and he was, to my knowledge, flooring it.. and I was pulling on him.. I'd have to let go of the gas here n there to prevent from flattening his rear more then it already is.
I'm going to try to get him up at the track or at least a stop light on straight ground and let ya guys know how it turns out.
I'm also stock, I bet if I was orange I'd win.
To my knowledge, he is stock aswell.

And about the beater CRX post.. this car sucks, but I don't know whats under the hood.. although it wouldnt be hard to tell..
The hood pins popped out and the hood came up and cracked his windshield when he was driving, this of course before dropping a pipe the next day.. so the car seems ****ty to me.. I know they used wood cawk (not slang for cock, just don't know how to spell the word.. sound it out!) as weath stripping on some parts of the car, and the wide body kit is held on my wood screws... the things ****ty, and I feel comfortable racing him in public, I'm pretty sure I'd win.. IDK I'll get back to ya'll

stock CRX SI usually run mid to high 15's with decent tires. what to stock V6's run in the quarter?
not much to laugh about now is it.........
i almost want to say it sounds too good to be true, as far as being a POS. sounds almost like a attempted sleeper, like he is making the car look so ****ty it invites competitors into a false sense of security, and once you figure out you just got had, hes already on the phone telling all his buddies how he just than this and that and spanked them.

I remember my tickets meteora, thats why I'd rather him at the track.. CRX SI? IDK if it's a CRX SI, unless they are all CRX SI.. IDK, I know the car is 100% stock, talked to his mechanic yesterday about it..
Not an attempted sleeper, he bought it for 2,000$ as a first car and he says he doesnt want to race it because he knows its not fast, but talks **** at the same time.. DUNNO

lol maybe Dodge shouldve went the GT500 route and made it to where the ECU does not unlock the full potential till so many miles, it just retards timing and adds in another degree or so every 100 miles.
i highly doubt its that high. 1/10 sounds like its stretching it, id imagine most people who can afford Vipers only get them for novelty, not because they are pretty fast.
lol, El Es Juan?

Now imagine it without a hood and a cracked windshield.
Kakaka, it's a CRX Si, without just a dual overhead cam LS motor in it I believe, from an integra, recently ****ed up his whole front end, being that he did the motor swap and didnt change suspension and kept the stock axel, too much torque intended I guess ****ed it up..
