3.8 v6 - 4.0 v6

Okay besides the obvious what's the difference between these two engines.. I have the 3.8 in my 2000 mustang I was wondering if I could up grade to the 4.0 what would I have to change?

if your going to upgrade, 4.2 is gonna be your best bet besides adding 2 extra cylinders

Hey I want to do an engine upgrade soon after body work is done. In what years did the 4.2 come in ? And where is it possible to find one

Haha. I wonder if there is a dramatic change of power from the 3.8. It would be nice to have a bigger engine though regardless.

Well its not a bigger engine its stronger more effective parts from a different engine
