turbo off a 2.3 Thunderbird engine

I got the turbo off an 85 Thunderbird 2.3 engine for my 2000 3.8 was told it go with it fine don't plan on putting but 6pounds of boost off it.. anyone know if I can mount it below my headers will I need more than a y pipe how would I accomplish this

You will need to upgrade a lot of parts, turbo manifold, fuel pump, injectors, and a custom tune.

maybe a tune, but no fuel mods for <6 lbs

Okay cool any thoughts on the tune?.. and I have true dual with two one chamber flowmasters or you mean a different kind of piping

Exhaust setup is going to have to change, thats for sure. look at old pictures on VMP's website to see how his turbo setup's were fabricated. and as far as the tune goes, probably a good idea to give american muscle a call and talk to there BAMA guys.
