Re: horsepower?

Lol, there is a thread on here that has good tips on adding hp to v6s I just cant find it right now but u could probably search it
But if you want major hp than I would go with a v8 but a v6 is just as good

Another Beto on the forum? Interesting lol anyway, the best way to get power on a v6 is to super or turbo charge it. Besides from that pretty much anything you do will just be a couple of horses. Since you already got a cai you should look into exhaust and a tuner.

Re: horsepower?

The main difference is the amount of cylinders, lol

I have a 2001 v6:

Re: horsepower?

I have a 2001 V6 5 spd, and I did a few things.... from most significant to least significant I did this:

1) Tuner ( I got a SCT from AmericanMuscle.com)
2) Windstar upper intake (from VAP Auto - Specializing in 3.8L Mustang Performance)
3) True dual exhaust from headers to tips (hardly made a difference - only louder)

Next on the list is UDP and T-Lok w/gears...

Don't focus on numbers... focus on performance results

Re: horsepower?

I agree with "Just_John", don't focus soo much on numbers, focus more on performance/feel.
