Assuming it's an SCCA event, you'll be in ESP. If it's NASA or some other governing body, then i am not sure as to their classing.
You're going to get killed by the street prepared PAX. Since you're a novice, they may let you slide into G-stock since your modifications are minimal & will do little to give you any competitive advantage. It really depends on who does the inspection & how anal they are.
