lower degree thermostat worth it

Is putting a 180 degree going to make a difference or should I leave the stock alone

I'm a firm believer in that cooler your engine can operate the more power and the longer your engine will last, I use 160 stats, I mean do you really need an engine to run 180 to 200 or more to make your heater good enough, and people say that your sensors won't work right without running at that temp, I never had a problem and I do it to every stang I get

Leave it stock. Unless you really start with heavy mods, the stock one is going to be best for ya.

180 is fine, anything below that is unneeded.

Got a 180 in mine, swapping it with a stock one for the winter since it takes 20mins to warm up....
