Headers and CAI

I just put in a BBK CAI and talked to my buddy after and he said I already have headers. If I put up a picture, could anyone tell me if I do have them?

How much hp would he gain if he stuck some long tube headers on there? Just a question because I'm getting dual exhaust done and I'm not sure on buying new long tube headers or not....

Alright so flowmasters straight out the back and some long tubes would be pretty good?

I run BBK long tubes and flow master 40s on my 95 and I make 650 rwhp.

On my 2011 I have Krooks long tubes with borla pipes and I make 775 rwhp

So buy some bbk long tubes and tell me exhaust shop I want flowmaster 40's. I'm guessing I should leave it with the cat convertors so that it keeps some back pressure for stop and go traffic

Maybe with a turbo or supercharger but not with just bolt on

Re: Headers and CAI

First off, this is the V6 group so I'm assuming the person asking about lt's drives a V6, no way in hell you'll get 20rwhp off even a full exhaust unless you have a built motor and the factory cats are choking it off.......

Full exhaust with Lt's maybe 10ish rwhp, the don't make it louder per-say they make it deeper in tone mostly at idle

Pacesetter and MAC are the only two that make lt's for the sixers.....

Best sounding setup IMO on a stock V6 is lt's to high-flo cats with either an h-pipe or prochamber and some 40's flowmaster or the knock-offs

LTs will not make 20rwhp on a 3.8L. Maybe 5-10rwhp. A 4v modular car might make 20rwhp from LTs.

By all means, prove us wrong. I want to see before and after dynos with SAE corrections where the only mod is LT headers.

Also, 99-04s had manifolds stock. 94-98s had header stock.
