Have a 99 mustang v6 and I think it's the t5 trans? Idk lol. But when I push the clutch in to start, it's easy to get into reverse. If I crank it, release the clutch while in neutral, then push down on it again, it's hard to get into first and reverse. Why? I have to put it in 1st before I come to a red light, and keep pushed down on the clutch. Because if I put it in neutral and try to put it in 1st at a red light but it takes to long so ppl honk sometimes lol. I have to push pretty hard to get it in. And I have to slam on it to get into reverse. Anyone got any idea? ALSO does anyone know how much estimated trans repair would be for my stang? It's still usable easily but it doesn't slip in nicely like it should and I would like to know how much I should start saving lol... Thanks.
