Re: what are the best mods for my 98 3.8??

Best bang for your buck would be to get the TLock w/ 3.73, CAI, true duels, and a tuner...

Don't even bother with the throttle body for these cars... just a waste of money...

Probably all new internals (rods, heads, crank, pistons) a new cam... a new fuel pump (like mentioned above) and definitely bigger fuel injectors... (36# should more than do it for a turbo 6...)... then you will also need a Dyno tune to finish it all up...

I have a good friend who just finished installing a turbo on his 94 Cobra 5.0 and it was an enormous project... not just a bolt-on, so get ready to spend an additional 2-3K on mods after the 3-4k for the turbo... Hope you really like having a v6 if you are gonna spend that kind of $ on one.

It was more of a hypothetical question, I'd probably bore and stroke it, add a new cam. Plus tune, gear, and h pipe exhaust like you mentioned. My buddy has an 04 tiburon 2.7L that's been talking smack. He's got the automatic with a slap shift
