Yes you will need an alignment ASAP! As far as the number of bolts the place you buy them from should be selling you ones that are a direct bolt on replacement for what you have already.

I'd say yes but not exactly sure because mine were already in my car when I bought it. Meaning I don't know if any special tools are required. I'd give your thread a day or two for some ppl with installation exp to chime in, I don't want to steer you wrong. Its my understanding they can be done at home and are a direct bolt up. I'm sure there are some tips out there to help you do it right though.
for a street car it really wont matter if you dont have coil overs, generally 3 bolt designs are just not as good a quality as the 4 bolt ones such as Maximum motorsports~ all thats needed though is the ability to shift the strut so if the stock crappy ones can handle it 3 bolt aftermarket ones can.
i installed my 4 bolt MM ones myself with simple tools
you need to drill another hole but thats easy using the stock plate as a jig with a center punch
