Re: Spacers!!

why are you putting spacers on the front of the car?

simple as inserting the spacers unless they are thick enough to require changing around of other things like studs for the lug nuts or anything else

no alignment required, they just make the tire sit out further not lean any (unless they are cut crocked)

Re: Spacers!!

maybe lowered and big wheels it might be a good idea, but if your not having any rubbing issues up front dont use them.

Backs, go for it.

if they aren't hubcentrics then it doesn't matter the name on them to me...i won't run anything but because i've had a wheel fly off on me on the hwy before on another stang...and after that anything i put between my wheels and hub must be top notch quality...hubcentrics are just that...

can you post a pic of what you bought...also have you test fit yet to see if you can put them on with your current studs...you don't want to skimp out on the amount of stud thread you leave for the nuts...if your current studs are too short you'll need to press them all out and get longer ones

From experience, i reccomend wider wheels and tires. Ford designed them that way for a reason. When u add spacers it puts stress on parts an can cause pre mature wear. Not to mention those spacers are crap. If you need to run them use hubcentric and only in the back. I wouldn't go more than an inch (25mm). Especially with a solid axle. AM has sime german ones that should be ok. Dont get those chineese ones. Made tht mistake before...

Agreed, just the back. Also look into tires as well. I had the factory wheels on mine and hated them! (225/50/16). I sold those rims & tires for $150 and bought a set of 00' GT rims (255/40/17). Not only did it make my car look 10x better but it changed everything as well. Braking was one of the first things I noticed. Stopped a lot quicker, overall everything handling wise was improved drastically.

Those will work. But i would reLly really recomend buying new hubcentric ones. All the weight will be on those crappy studs tho. Just keep em tight. Even more reason to get new ones if they are hella old. U have a nice car, dont put iffy parts on it.
