m90 swap

I'm gonna do this on my 98 Stang, I'm thinking about rebuilding the sc's engine and putting that in my Stang and keeping the original 3.8. I also think it would be smart to replace the 7.5 rear end with an 8.8 off the same year gt. Now will I need a new wiring harness for the engine swap and what kind of problems may I encounter?

Re: m90 swap

v6power.net has a few different threads about it. Use the search option there and read up some.

Basically You need a complete engine to do the swap. Id recommend using a SC block and not your stock block. But if you wanna keep AC, lines have to be fabbed, Fuel rail is different. You'll need a bigger fuel pump. And just do all the work and have it tuned.

I know that is brief, but its a start. Do some searching on that forum, it has the most info ive seen so far.
