I gotta pay $55 for gas every week and a half (roughly), and $136 a month for insurance. plus I got school and hockey so I don't get much time to work.

Just got em from a local auto store. The problem I'm having is putting the lock onto the lights and making them fit in the headlight because we can't turn the lock onto the headlight because there is a power cord running from the side of the hid, so the lock has no room to turn. Did you have the same problem?

there really is NO difference between the two options...it's an exhaust on a v6...that and you have a single port so just find something that sounds good to you and go for it....

if they aren't locking in correctly then you don't have a kit made for your car....i know you didn't order from an HID company so what brand are they? also what size bulb did you buy? i've never had an issue locking the spin cap over any HID bulb

I had bought 9007 hid kit 8000k, which is for a 1996 mustang, I didn't get a spin cap with my set....I used the one with the lights which I'm guessing you are supposed to do...although I have aftermarket smoked cobra headlights.

And they are Chanda I believe, which is the shop name located in Calgary AB.

the spin cap i speak of is that factory part that holds the bulb into the back of ford headlight housings....your cobra headlights should have the same setup stock....as for the brand i've never heard of them before. so i can't tell you much on them...the only brands i've ever dealt with are VVME, DDM, and some off brand from Ebay (which is why i'm against ebay kits lol)

It's a xenon hid kit, that bulge on the right hand side, the power source is in the way, I cannot rotate the spin cap when it is on the bulb to lock in place on the back of the headlight.

Yea thanks though, very poorly built I'd say, I guess I'll just get them to install it, thanks for your help.

Yea I could but then I would have to go to Calgary, return them, then order my hid's online, pay for shipping and wait 2 weeks or so. My dad said he would rather me just go get them to install it. That's pretty cheap! I got mine for $75 on sale.
