Re: I thnk I'm gonna buy this

Changed the clutch out 400 miles ago and no longer wants the car now hmm odd....,

For a Gt no bueno for that price IMO, I see them go for 3K or less all the time with about 90K-110K miles

90k-110k? What's that have to do with this car @ 58k?

Any way.. OP Prices vary depending where you live and the demand... Look at other comparable cars including coupes to get an idea of what they go for where you live before making your choice. Also check KBB they give you prices based on comparable cars listed with in your area. Also go look at it and drive it. That will tell you a lot. Take a voice of reason with you too. Not a GF or wife as they are usually just ready to leave and will say whatever they think you want to hear lol good luck!

I live in South Dakota. Mustang prices are WAY high here simply due to supply and demand. Most small town Ford stealerships don't even order them at all for their inventory. You have to go to either Sioux Falls or Rapid City to see a selection of new Mustangs. You just don't see them driving around everywhere everyday... Book prices are really out of sync with the rest of the country. Their asking price is actually below average.

I have mentioned in another thread "If you are selling your mustang, put it on a trailer and haul it up here." Retail on a 01 v6 5spd with 125k miles like mine is around $6k. Just stupid expensive. If it's exceptionally nice the price just goes up. And yes, people pay that much for them.

Oddly, you can drive just 250 miles east to Minneapolis and spend half the cash on a used one.

oh going to go after me now too? Lol

I was giving a comparison...... For 30-50K more miles you save a lot of money, but apparently he gets ripped off there anyways....,

Food for thought.. I'd probably try to talk down on the price and test drive the car well. It seems clean.

Re: I thnk I'm gonna buy this

NOT gonna buy it, my buddy (body shop owner) wants to do a two tone matte black upper/silver lower paint job on my car. He had a SWEEET 92 Fox with this paint and it was beautiful. He wants to see what it looks like on a New Edge.. Who am I to complain about a free custom pain job? All I have to pay for is the basic repairs from the deer hit.

God I love my friends !

Doesn't sound like it would look very good on a new edge but its not my car

this....mainly because to be visually appealing the darker colors should be on bottom and brighter/lighter colors up top.
