Headers

Just tryna to do some research on headers. Like wats better long tube or shorty and wats the difference between them. Also if there would be a smog problem if I get some

Long tube has better gain but will need welding work and a different piping. Shorty header don't add very much but its a bolt on

From what I've read, long tube headers give some HP as well as a deeper exhaust tone. Not sure about shorty headers. If you plan on doing a full exhaust setup, I would go with long tubes.

I did shorty but my headers had a crack and I wanted something that I could install myself

So will longtime headers pass smog if they are put on

YES YOU'LL NEED A Matching X or H-Pipe that goes with the long tubes 'then it'll all bolt right up to the factory cat back ..............

Sounds like more of a hassle.. Ima just go with shorty bbk headers
