Re: Exhaust

I went with an X-pipe and Flowmaster 40's, but it's too loud for me. Gonna redo my exhaust here soon and go with 50's. is your h-pipe welded to your cat-back or is it bolted on? If you're looking for louder, i have an O/R H-pipe i would like to get rid of.

the 40's aren't your problem..it's that damn x pipe

@OP...do you have emission testing...if so you'll have to plan around the code that will pop up from cutting off the two cats...will you be leaving the two resonators on there btw or will they be gone as well?

@KM...yes you can. again keep in mind if you have testing in your area and what you'll need to do to get around it.

The vibration doesn't bother me much but I did make some adjustment's with a few things inside the car to keep it from rattling

No its the 40s that are the problem... Even flowmaster acknowledges the high interior noise, hence that's why they made the 50s.

My wife and the whole neighborhood can hear me the morning when I leave for work. Both of my neighbors told me they use my car as an alarm clock. My wife also said she can hear when I get on the highway in the morning as well, which is about1/4 mile away. So yeah too loud.
