Re: Cold Air Intake

As was posted earlier, I have to agree... DO NOT buy a CAI if you have any intention of installing a Windstar upper intake from VAPauto.com in the future. Steven includes a nice complete one in the kit.

In regards to the posters commenting on the maximum HP/TQ potential of the 3.8, I would like to point out that there is another direction to travel in...

With the right combination of parts/tune, these cars are capable of INCREDIBLE fuel economy.

MPG city/hwy
Stock was 14/24
Bama Tune 20/28
Windstar 24/30
True Duals 24/32

These hwy MPG numbers are Interstate @ 75 mph
At 55 mph in Minnesota I have gotten avg 36 mpg on a 550 mile trip....

Awesomeness in a tire smokin, rumblin, growlin sexy silver package!

Just my 2 cents...

I don't know, like I don't really believe kicker but then again I can't disprove him so no point in arguing. Your car well it prob has something to do with the fact that its making n/a power? Or maybe he has 2.73s or something.

Ya well try what you have there and +2 car seats, +2 strollers, +2 diaperbags, + the wife and the crap she wants to bring, +2 kids, and add to the fact my 2yr old son saying "go go go", because he already suffers from the, 60mph is way to slow syndrome!!... Hahahaha

If I set the cruise control I can get 25mpg at 75-80 mph!.. But that is no fun!!.... Lol
