Whats your favorite tune?

Title says it all. What your favorite? Which do you think gives the biggest boost and wakes up your car? Do you think it even helps that much, where you could feel the difference, and is worth it?

No seriously I have an SCT 4 bank eliminator chip w/ selector cable and three tunes. Each more aggressive then the last and love it. Was with the car when I bought it so I don't know who tuned it
SCT seems to be the brand of choice not only on this site but with Fords overall.
There are some things to consider, for example Bama's tunes are said to not be as aggressive as some others but they offer free tunes for life meaning they will update it for you as you add mods.
I would think if you have just a few mods a canned tune should be ok, but once you start having some serious mods you might look into a custom dyno tune, mainly cost being the largest factor here for me.
If money is no issue I say get a custom dyno tune from a reputable shop and you won't be disapointed. Just my opinion, am sure others will chime in.

I have a tuner from am I love it and tunes for life. With just bolt on its worth it and i feel like a real car on the street. Now yes a custom tune would be nice but for bolt on not really going to make a huge difference

Re: Whats your favorite tune?

I have a custom SCT dyno tune.

Other than that VMP & TT & LaSota would be the only places I would consider mail order tunes.

Re: Whats your favorite tune?

Bama isn't concentrating on the 04 and older V6 tunes like thay had before. These cars are becoming so old its getting harder to tune them. Lots of issues have came up lately with Bama's tunes. But So many people use them as compared to TT or VMP that its hard to compare. I just see what the majority is.
I had Bama once, and didn't have much problem. As for being an automatic it made a HUGE differene in my shifting. Other then that, I couldn't really say it does much. Other then you put 93 octane in if you want lol

the best tune is one done custom for your car by someone that knows that they are doing and is looking to get you the things you want (based on your driving style and what you do with the car). It takes time and it takes data logging etc etc. It also takes an in person dyno or remote dyno session to get it dialed in.
