Engine dissasemble

So I am disassembling my engine for head gasket replacement, I thought this may be a good time for some performance parts since ive got the engine apart. Anyone have some good ideas I may be able to do?

Re: Engine dissasemble

P&P heads and lower intake
Windstar upper intake
Custom cam and spring/retainers
UDP
Long tubes - Full O/R exhaust
Or even pull the engine and get a 4.2 from an f150 or find some high compression pistons

Potential Ideas.

1) split port swap?
2) ported and polished heads and intakes
3) camshaft
4) you could do a 4.2 short block swap if you found one cheap enough but then I wouldn't do this without doing #2 unless you just had high mileage and found a low mileage 4.2
5) mikes idea with the pistons but that one will get expensive.

yea, P&P heads and ported intakes along with a nice cam would work great~ but it can get costly.

Re: Engine dissasemble

its a ton of hassle to go split port swap, I would p&p heads/intakes and get a cam or just put it back to stock

OP i tell you what, since I seriously doubt you'd go with an M90 swap lol

I say you buy my spare cam off me, you'll need some ls srings and GT retainers, and you might end up needing new Push Rods.
