bbk headers

Anybody know if the bbk shorty headers are a direct bolt-on replacement for the stock manifolds? I own a 99 v6.

Re: bbk headers

Unless you just want a exhaust note change or have cranked your stock headers Save your money you'd be better off finding a set of 94-98 stock headers the exhaust ports are bigger then the 99-04 and they have great flow

Re: bbk headers

shorty headers are worthless on an anywhere near stock v6. When you have over 300hp/tq then you can look into some. There are many much better mods to do for the money. I would do them first.

^agreed.

i wouldnt do anything to the exhaust other than dual exhaust unless you are planning big and want to supercharge or turbo it.

Re: bbk headers

well, I both of my exhaust manifolds have leaks and it looks like i can get some bbk headers cheaper than some stock manifolds
