I had a 02 gt and my clutch did the same thing before my clutch blew up. Hopefully it doesn't happen to you but you might wanna get it checked out before your driving and it blows up. Thats what happened to me

Juss had to deal with this same problem. The throw out bearing was worn out and that was causing the squeaking. I went ahead and changed the clutch while I was replacing the TOB tho. Good luck.

Well since you already have to take the trans put to put a new TOB in I would go ahead and replace the clutch unless it was replaced recently.

Re: Clutch?.....

Very common with our cars. Throw out bearing. Try getting under and put pressure against the clutch fork. There is always play in it and it rattles. Tighten it up too much and the pilot bearing is always engaged.
